Skip the pink trap

Painting a tool pink is the most common move, and the one that feels most forced. Colors that land better tend to be sage, mist rose, marble — palettes that do not shout “for her,” but still feel considered.

Use beats pretty

Grip angle, anti-slip texture, weight balance — these decide whether the kit gets used every week, or sits in a drawer looking unused.

A set says more than a single piece
