Can a screwdriver be a gift? Here is how we think about it

Most hardware follows one rule: “as long as it works.” That is fair. It also leaves a wide space nobody treated seriously — a tool can be something you want seen, and something you want to give.

What we are not doing

We are not painting a screwdriver pink and calling it “for her.” That is the laziest kind of differentiation, and it usually satisfies nobody: people who like industrial design find it childish, and the intended buyer may not buy it either.

What we are doing

Keep the bit and shaft at industrial spec. Work the “skin” on the handle — solids, stripes, dots, floral, marble — so one mold and one hardware standard can carry very different moods and occasions.

This is only the first step

These pages are a concept showcase. We want to see if anyone actually stands behind this direction. If the idea lands, leave your contact on the home page.
